Entering the house
Tea, a few words, and then the Villa opens little by little: its architecture, its works, its objects and the stories they carry.
Here the day is not organised. It finds its own rhythm.
Morning begins on the roof, facing the Atlantic, as the light gradually reveals Essaouira.
Then comes the pleasure of walking through the house and finding a photograph, an object, a material or an architectural detail that went unnoticed the day before.
The afternoon turns towards the hammam and the treatment rooms.
Evening brings a return to the rooftop, as the light comes down over the ramparts and the island of Mogador takes shape on the horizon.
At villa museum mogador, nothing hurries.
The house is discovered as a work of art is: with time.
Tea, a few words, and then the Villa opens little by little: its architecture, its works, its objects and the stories they carry.
Beneath the house the rhythm changes. The beldi hammam and the treatment rooms open a more intimate world of stone, steam, silence and light.
As the sun goes down, the rooftop becomes a belvedere. Essaouira, its ramparts, the ocean and the island of Mogador then compose a landscape that changes with every light.
